Injury time
For my various readers of Ravencoast, an update for all those interested. I haven’t been posting. There has been a lot of news on northwest energy projects including the maintenance of the tanker bank and ongoing LNG deals. I am still working slowly on the naval history and science fiction projects. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to go out photographing nature and birds.
I am taking injury time.
On Canada Day after watching the parade here, I was unexpectedly in great pain, unable to bend or walk on my right leg. I had not fallen, tripped or twisted my leg. I went to the Emergency Room where I got great care from the nurses (I fully support their demands on the BC government for better working conditions and salaries) I am now somewhat mobile, the leg remains swollen and somewhat painful at this time. It appears to be a combination of genetics inherited from my parents, old old injuries from decades ago flaring up and just getting older. I am waiting for final outcome of tests I had recently.
I am somewhat back on my feet, with less swelling and hope to resume posting in the next couple of weeks.

As one with terrible osteoarthritis in my left knee, you have my sympathy.
